Ao Nang – Ao Nang

Non riding day.

Spent the day checking out Railay, which it turns out is far nicer than Ao Nang.  Very relaxed, chilled out place, with a beautiful beach and none of the development of Ao Nang.

I moved into a different hotel, further away from the main street and under the mountain.  A great little place call Phu Pha Resort, timber cottages nestled in the jungle.
In the evening the mosquitoes were quite bad, so I walked out to reception to see if they had some spray for the room.  I took the GPS with me as I wanted to get a clear view of the sky.
As I walked back from reception, looking down at the GPS, I missed a step and stubbed my left big toe on the concrete, tearing the nail and splitting it open.  Frustrated with myself for being so clumsy, it was the first occasion to get the medical kit out and patch things up.
