Chiang Mai

On arrival into Chiang Mai, first stop was naturally Rider’s Corner, where Phil & Som and their team & friends welcomed me with open arms, food, beer, local knowledge and a room.

Rider’s Corner is an absolute gem in Northern Thailand, especially for riders & overland travellers. Phil knows pretty much everything there is to know about exploring the region by bike and the kitchen at Rider’s Corner turns out an awesome breakfast.

Flight of the Gibbon was recommended and a great day out in the mountain jungle outside Chiang Rai.
