The crew at Verizon put on a pretty unique and special farewell party at ‘The Black Swan’ along with a Stormtrooper and a Scout trooper. It was a great night, lots of laughs.   Here are a couple of the less incriminating photos from the evening.

Only 15 days to go until departure day now. The majority of the preparations have now been completed; visas, permits, vaccinations, spare parts, bike preparations, camping equipment and clothing. I’m left with solving a couple of items such as medical kit finalisation, photography gear and laptop. (All things that of all people, I should have completed months ago!). I’m sure these will be resolved in the next two weeks. I had felt under a significant amount of pressure during the past few weeks, with all the preparations, but…
