Hello, and welcome to doherty.net.au Moblog. Here you should find some happy-snaps from around the place, mostly taken with my Nokia phone. Enjoy.

The real question is, how did u switch your phone on on the plane?

Ahh, flight mode!

Well, actually. I used my phone on the plane; to send the message as well.
It is bullshit that the airlines feed us to tell you the plane will crash if you use your phone!
Actually, QANTAS are presently putting together the infrastructure to create a GPRS/GSM enviroment within the aircraft. The idea being that you will be able to use your own GSM mobile to make calls, and if your laptop has a GPRS card, you will be able to browse the web.
The network will function such that the aircraft will be the equivelent of a GSM country.
Now, tell me that there is any negative impact from using your phone on a plane.
The stupid thing is why are they doing it with GSM technology? Shouldn’t they be building a 3G network…
